My cousin Julia and her husband Zach are some of the best people I know. I’ve been able to capture quite a bit of their journey over the years. Their first home. Their engagement photos. Their pregnancy announcement. AND now their maternity photos!

What you won’t see in these photos is the very long road it took for these two to get pregnant. Their story is endearing and inspiring to everyone it reaches. They’ve overcome so much- and because of that, they’ll be the best, most loving parents on the planet. I’m so stinking proud of them, I really can’t put it into words.

We took these photos at our family’s pond in Evington VA. We spent our summers here as kids, and Julia and Zach actually plan on building a house here in a few years. This place is so special to our family, as are Julia, Zach, and this sweet baby on the way.

You’d never know it, but we took these photos the day after a MASSIVE storm. We anticipated a muddy mess but as you can see, the circumstance were pretty perfect. HAVE YOU EVER SEEN A MORE BEAUTIFUL MAMA TO BE???? Nothing like a November golden hour in the country amirite????

Julia and Zach, you mean so much to me and I hope these photos will always remind you of this amazing time in your lives. I cannot wait for you to be parents!!!
